Taking Good Pictures

For years you might have been happy not knowing manual settings for your camera. The great pictures seem to come from not so much about technical skills but about being there, in the moment. I’ve seen some great shots come from camera phones and throw-away cameras.

Visualize framing pictures, that is setting up your pictures is the way they will turn out in real life is a great start. Direct the attention to the center of interest and positioning the subject in contrasting backgrounds gives added emphasis. Tonal and color contrast in foreground helps too. Getting ready before the action starts is an added advantage.
